Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Service and Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of gas systems and LEV installations at various client sites across the UK, with occasional assignments abroad. As a home-based role, you will be required to travel frequently and stay overnight as necessary to meet the demands of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, Service, and Maintenance:
    Perform installation, servicing, and maintenance of gas systems and LEV units at client sites, ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards.

  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:
    Diagnose and repair faults in gas systems and LEV equipment, providing expert solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to client operations.

  • Client Interaction:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing professional advice and support regarding their gas and LEV systems. Ensure all work is documented and reported in line with company procedures.

  • Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with Gas Safe regulations and other relevant industry standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in the industry.

  • Training and Development:
    Participate in company-provided training to achieve and maintain Gas Safe Registration. This qualification is essential to your role, and support will be provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential:

    • Experience in gas system installation, maintenance, or a related field.

    • Strong understanding of LEV systems and associated safety protocols.

    • Willingness to travel extensively, including frequent overnight stays.

  • Desirable:

    • Existing Gas Safe Registration (if not, the company will provide training to achieve this).

    • Experience working in various environments, including industrial or commercial settings.

    • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively.
