The Client:
Our client is a Global Multi Disciplinary Award winning Engineering firm who under the leadership of the Head of M&E are looking to immediately recruit an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer.
Your duties may include:
To undertake Mechanical Building Services design on UK projects - BAE / MOD / Nuclear.
Preparing, carrying out and checking of design calculations (industry standard software), drawings and specifications prepared by others on a variety of buildings
Preparation of technical specifications and managing fee budgets
Preparing drawings for drafting by our in-house CAD team
Report writing and maintaining records and archives to company standards
Site surveys, inspections, and monitor site works

The Candidate:
Experience working in a design consultancy – experience of working within a contractor environment is additionally welcome.
You will have experience with 3D Design & Revit and can manage other engineers.
Experience of working with Mechanical Design Engineering software, including Hevacomp, Cymap,IES, TAS and NES. An understanding of BIM and Revit would be beneficial.
