Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer; Long-Term Contract; Warrington; c£38-£45/hr

The Role:
Our client are looking to recruit several Mechanical Building Services Engineers to join their team. These roles will be supporting principal engineers and/or other line managers. The successful candidates will be professional, ambitious, competent and enthusiastic mechanical building services design engineers.
Your duties as a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer may include:
Prepare documentation (drawings, designs, specifications), tailored to required stage of project completion, covering all aspects of mechanical services.
Carry out detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment to establish the extent of the existing installation and gain enough information to complete design and to report findings to others as required
Advise on all aspects of energy consumption and utilisation, identify on mitigation schemes and give recommendations to improve energy performance.
Assist in the monitoring of the design and project management of commissions within agreed programmes
Ensure compliance with building regulations for engineering aspects of delegated projects

The Candidate:
You will have at least 5-10years experience as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer.
You will be qualified to HND / Degree / Chartered level.
Knowledge of current building regulations and relevant legislation
Experience of using Hevacomp, Revit, 3D and AutoCad, IES experience is beneficial however not essential.
You will have excellent communication skills - written and oral.
Experience in the pricing of work packages.
